national breast cancer foundation • high school intern | summer 2017
the national breast cancer foundation is a national non-profit that believes no one should have to face breast cancer alone by providing help and inspiring hope to those affected by breast cancer through early detection, education, and support services.
instameets are a way for people in the instagram community to meet one another and take photos around their city together. the nbcf marketing team was already interested in engaging in one.
during our internship, we were tasked with creating an event to meet both marketing and corporate development department goals. we combined creating an awareness event with an instameet (meetup of photographers to help in generating organic marketing content) partnered with @instadfw. i was personally in charge of marketing strategies and event ideation; which included the hashtag #hopemeetsdfw.
this instameet combines an event to generate collateral with local talent and an opportunity to create awareness for breast cancer and the national breast cancer foundation's many community programs.

final presentation given to the national breast cancer foundation executive board which included a marketing campaign, financial estimations, and event logistics.
photographers in the dfw area were invited to the event at main street gardens to take pictures while also being educated about breast cancer on september 30th, 2017. below is some of their submissions.
