One of NBCF's top priorities is educating women on what they can do to be proactive with their breast health, because knowledge and early detection saves lives.

The Instagram Carousel

It has been proven to be the perfect format to visually convey information in a way that is easily digestible and hyper-shareable. The challenge is to tell stories and condense information that actually bring value. Below are campaigns I helped create from start to finish—from ideating content to designing each slide on Adobe Illustrator.

Health Disparities Campaign

September 2021 - October 2021

Leading up to Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, this campaign centered around summarizing health disparities that directly impact accessibility to breast health resources. Corresponding Instagram stories pointed our audience to NBCF’s resources and ways to get involved. This campaign helped increase engagement by 680% more than the previous month.

Screening Crisis Campaign

October 2021

Screening appointments (like mammograms) were cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic. As a result, there are a flood of people are returning to in-person screening appointments. This created a bottleneck with more people being diagnosed with breast cancer at later stages. These 14 posts increased social accounts engaged by 495% after encouraging people to save and share for awareness.

Support Series Campaign

January 2022

It can be hard to know the "right" thing to say to someone undergoing breast cancer. Many breast cancer patients oftentimes feel forgotten and experience feelings of isolation due to the people around them not knowing how to interact with them or doing nothing in fear of saying the wrong thing. This campaign shared examples people might need direction on.
